Welcome Home Ministries

Our Story

Founded in 1992 by Daryl R. Murray, Welcome Home Ministries has grown from a humble nine-bed facility in East Nashville to eight recovery residences with 77 beds by 2021. This organization is dedicated to guiding men through their journey from substance use disorder to a life of healing and wholeness, utilizing Biblical principles and the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Impact

Welcome Home Ministries has made a significant impact in Nashville by reducing the number of homeless men on the streets and decreasing local crime rates. With 89% of participants experiencing no further criminal justice involvement and 51% of unemployed service recipients finding paid employment, the results speak for themselves.
