Our Story

Founded in February 2008, Weed Warriors began with a mission to restore the Newcastle Historical Cemetery by removing invasive ivy and enhancing local habitats. Over the years, this Washington State Non-Profit Charity has expanded its reach, evolving from hands-on weed removal projects to a comprehensive Nature Stewards Program. This program includes workshops, nature trail walks, and advocacy for environmental issues, all aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility for our natural world.

Impact

Since its inception, Weed Warriors has mobilized volunteers to contribute over 34,531 hours of service, valued at over $1 million. These efforts not only alleviate the burden on local jurisdictions but also create healthier ecosystems for all to enjoy.
