Our Story

In 1985, a group of friends embarked on a golf trip to Scotland, where a caddie famously declared, 'My money's on the wee one!' This 'wee one' was Wayne Otto, CGCS, a dedicated professional who tragically lost his battle with cancer in 2004. In his honor, the Wee One Foundation was established to support golf course management professionals and their dependents facing overwhelming medical expenses without adequate insurance.

Impact

Since its inception, the Wee One Foundation has grown to over 350 members across 27 states, providing over $2,000,000 in assistance to families in need. This support has made a significant difference in the lives of those in the golf course management profession.
