Webster Township Historical Society

Our Story

The Webster Township Historical Society was established in September 1980 by passionate individuals dedicated to preserving the rich history of Webster Township. Since its incorporation as a nonprofit in December 1980 and receiving 501(c)(3) status in January 1983, the Society has focused on acquiring and maintaining historical properties. Notably, the reconstruction of a wheelwright and blacksmith shop has contributed to the development of Historic Webster Village, showcasing several historical buildings and a memorial garden.

Our Impact

WTHS has successfully preserved numerous historical buildings and artifacts, providing educational opportunities and community events that celebrate local history. The establishment of a community archive ensures the preservation of local history for future generations.
