Webster Lacrosse Club

Our Story

Founded in 1996, the Webster Lacrosse Club is dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse in the Town of Webster. This all-volunteer organization offers lacrosse activities for all ages, from elementary school to summer adult games. Lacrosse combines the agility of basketball, the endurance of soccer, the physical contact of football, and the quick eye-hand coordination of hockey, making it an exciting sport for children. The Club focuses on maximizing the number of times a child touches the ball, ensuring that every player has the opportunity to develop their skills and love for the game.

Impact

The Webster Lacrosse Club has a proud tradition of nurturing young athletes who continue their lacrosse journey beyond high school. As one of the few town clubs that support two high school programs, many alumni have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional levels. The Club measures success by involvement, emphasizing that the journey of playing lacrosse is just as important as the destination.
