Our Story

In 2003, David and Amy Lancaster felt a calling to make a difference in Jackson, Mississippi. Witnessing the pressing needs of their community, they took action with a simple yet powerful declaration: "We Will Go." This initiative has blossomed into a vibrant organization that partners with volunteers, donors, churches, and community members to uplift those in need. Today, We Will Go focuses on three core areas: Education, Essential Food, and Engagement. By distributing groceries to low-income families, offering afterschool care with a literacy focus, and providing summer learning programs, We Will Go is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ and fostering community transformation.

Impact

In 2021, We Will Go provided groceries to over 5,000 individuals, with a goal to assist 10,000 this year. The organization’s commitment to supporting struggling students through consistent engagement is crucial in preventing them from falling behind.
