Our Story

We Resolve is a nonprofit organization formed by a coalition of families, artists, and community organizers in the Twin Cities. The mission is to support individuals and families navigating the criminal legal process through the Participatory Defense Model, empowering them against a discriminatory punishment system.

Impact

Since its inception, We Resolve has saved over 572 years of jail time and $30 million in fines and taxpayer costs. This work has significantly improved the mental and emotional health of those supported, allowing them to navigate the legal system with dignity and community backing.
