We Future Cycle is a dedicated 501c3 charitable organization based in New York, focused on helping schools comply with recycling laws and reduce waste. Founded by Anna Giordano, the initiative began after witnessing the overwhelming garbage generated at her children's school. By implementing School Lunch Recycling programs in 15 schools across Westchester County, thousands of children are now trained to sort their waste responsibly.
Through its efforts, We Future Cycle has achieved a remarkable 98% reduction in lunchroom waste, decreasing garbage from 293 lbs per lunch to just three. The organization has successfully diverted 92% of lunchroom waste into composting and recycling, significantly lowering refuse costs and generating revenue for the county.
