Our Story

Founded in 2007 by Peggy and John Hurley, We Care We Share Ministries emerged to address the urgent need for food assistance in Lorain after the closure of the only local food pantry. Initially operating from an old school building, WCWS has since relocated to 1888 E. 31st St., expanding its services to include a food pantry, clothing closet, and the My House program for youth aging out of foster care. This ministry thrives on community support and partnerships, dedicated to empowering families and fostering stronger communities.

Impact

For over a decade, WCWS has been a lifeline for the low-income population of Lorain, providing essential resources and support to families in need.
