Our Story
Since 1894, Waypoint Services for Women, Children and Families has been dedicated to improving lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Originally established as the Cedar Rapids chapter of the Young Women's Christian Association, Waypoint has evolved its services to empower women and support families facing challenges such as housing instability, poverty, and violence.
Impact
In the last fiscal year, Waypoint made a significant impact by serving 2,270 survivors of domestic violence, helping 4,609 individuals secure permanent housing, and providing essential child care services to over 30% of children attending KidsPoint.
