Waypoint Montessori School

Our Story

Established in 1971, Waypoint Montessori is an AMI Recognized Montessori school dedicated to serving children from 14 months to 12 years old. Originally opened as the Montessori Academy of Grapevine, the school quickly outgrew its first location and moved to Southlake, where it thrived for 13 years. In 1986, due to increasing enrollment, Waypoint Montessori relocated to its current home in Colleyville, Texas. For over 50 years, the school has focused on the child, implementing time-tested Montessori practices with a dedicated faculty trained at AMI training centers.
