In 2016, five friends gathered on a rooftop in San Francisco, motivated by the urgent need to support LGBTQ+ youth amid a turbulent political climate. They founded wayOUT, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to empowering LGBTQ+ individuals by investing in local community centers.
