The Civic Center building, originally constructed as a high school in 1911, has been a cornerstone of the Watervliet community since 1946. Recognizing the need for a dedicated space for youth, the Watervliet Rotary Club and a group of civic-minded citizens transformed this historic building into a vibrant youth center. Over the past 75 years, the Civic Center has evolved, serving more than 800 youth, young adults, and adults annually through various programs and activities.
Each year, over 800 individuals benefit from our diverse programming, fostering community engagement and personal growth.
