Founded in 1985 by Elizabeth Fisk Barisser, Brass City Ballet began in a church in Waterbury, Connecticut. Over the past 35 years, the studio has evolved into a vibrant community dedicated to quality dance education that embraces joy. With classes for students as young as 18 months to adults, Brass City Ballet nurtures a love for movement and offers a full season of performance opportunities.
Brass City Ballet is more than just a dance studio; it is a family. This community of parents, teachers, volunteers, and dancers fosters creativity, leadership, responsibility, and teamwork, allowing children to explore their artistic potential in a supportive environment.
