Our Story

Since 1985, WaterWatch of Oregon has been dedicated to protecting and restoring river flows to sustain native fish, wildlife, and communities that rely on healthy rivers. As pioneers in advocating for water law reform in the West, WaterWatch has made significant strides in river conservation.

Our Impact

The removal of the Savage Rapids Dam is projected to boost fish populations by 22%, allowing approximately 114,000 more salmon and steelhead to reach their spawning grounds each year, valued at around $5 million annually.
