Our Story

The Washington Township Youth Association, originally founded as the Brass Castle Youth Association in 1956, has a rich history of fostering youth sports in the community. Established by Jim Strunk and Phil Friese to support local baseball players, the organization has evolved significantly over the years. From its humble beginnings with just one baseball team, it has expanded to encompass 65 teams across six different sports, engaging over 500 young athletes. This transformation reflects the dedication to providing quality athletic programs for children in grades K-8.
