Our Story

Founded in 2013, Washington Leadership Academy (WLA) was created with a vision to integrate technology into education, preparing young people for lives of public leadership. The founding team, comprised of educators, parents, technologists, and community leaders, drew inspiration from innovative educational models across the country. WLA aims to motivate and equip students to lead and effect change in their communities.
