Our Story
Founded in 1965 in response to a shocking case of animal cruelty, the Washington County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (WCSPCA) has been a beacon of hope for abandoned and homeless animals in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. The organization established a shelter and has since expanded its mission to include public education on companion animal issues.
Impact
In 2023, WCSPCA made a remarkable impact with 1,757 animal intakes, 1,150 successful adoptions, and over 1,075 spay/neuter surgeries, significantly improving the local animal population.
