Our Story

Established in 2009, Washington County Kids (WCK) was created to address the critical need for out-of-school time (OST) programs for children and youth in Washington County. Recognizing that many children were underserved, WCK collaborates with program providers, school districts, parents, and civic groups to raise awareness and provide resources. Since gaining nonprofit status in 2018, WCK has focused on ensuring that every child has access to quality programs that foster their success.

Impact

WCK is dedicated to improving the lives of children by ensuring they have access to OST programs. Participation in these programs significantly increases the likelihood of academic success, timely graduation, and reduced engagement in negative behaviors such as drug use and crime.
