Founded in 1905 by Abby Williams Hill, the Washington State PTA has been a steadfast advocate for children in Washington. This organization emerged from a vision to support and uplift the youth of our state, and it continues to thrive through the dedication of parents and teachers.
As the oldest and largest volunteer child advocacy association in Washington, WSPTA represents over 80,000 members across nearly 800 PTAs, tirelessly working to enhance children's education, health, and safety.
