Founded in 2013, Washington Charter School Development Inc. addresses the critical challenge of securing adequate facilities for high-quality charter schools in Washington State. With nearly a decade of experience, WCSD empowers leaders in under-resourced communities by providing expert guidance and access to philanthropic resources, ensuring that these schools have long-term homes. Over the years, WCSD has successfully expanded its reach, deploying over $60 million to develop 20 school facility projects.

Our Impact

WCSD is dedicated to dismantling systemic inequality in education, expanding opportunities for over 6,500 students in under-resourced communities. To date, more than $60 million has been invested in projects that leverage philanthropy, private financing, and state funding.
