Founded in 2006 by Mike Wilson, John O’Leary, and Bob Saunders, Warrior Events was created to support military and wounded service members at Walter Reed Army Hospital and the National Naval Medical Center. Since receiving 501(c)(3) status in 2014, the organization has focused on fostering camaraderie and community integration for veterans and their families.
Warrior Events serves over 160 veterans and family members, providing a sanctuary of peer support and community events that help veterans establish themselves as pillars in their communities.
