The Warrington Community Ambulance Corps (WCAC) was established in 1971 to address the urgent need for emergency medical services in Warrington Township and its surrounding areas. Initially formed as a volunteer-based service, WCAC has evolved into a hybrid model that combines both paid and volunteer staff, ensuring that the community receives the highest quality of care.

Impact

WCAC responds to over 1,800 emergency calls annually, significantly improving response times and service quality. With a commitment to community health and safety, the organization provides both Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) services, contributing approximately $100,000 worth of volunteer service time each year.
