Our Story

Founded in March 1937 by Victor C. Harnish, the Waltham Boys and Girls Club has been a cornerstone of the community for over 80 years. Initially established as a Boys Club, it officially became the Waltham Boys & Girls Club in 1985, reflecting its commitment to serving all youth. The Club opened its doors in 1938 and has since expanded to meet the evolving needs of Waltham's youth, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Recognized nationally for program excellence by the Boys & Girls Club of America, the Club continues to provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people to thrive.
