Walls for Justice began in the summer of 2020, inspired by the civil unrest following the killings of people of color. Founded by Sam Rodriguez, the organization uses public art as a means of protest and healing, painting unifying social justice messages on plywood boards during the pandemic.
With over 100 public artworks created, Walls for Justice has engaged more than 2,000 artists and community volunteers, fostering collaboration and social change through art.
