Our Story
Opened in November 2007, the Waipahu Festival Marketplace was thoughtfully procured and refurbished by the Waipahu Community Association (WCA), with support from public and private funding. This vibrant marketplace serves as a retail hub and incubator, showcasing local produce, meats, seafood, crafts, and more. Rising from the challenges faced after the closure of the Oahu Sugar Mill and other local businesses in the 1990s, the WCA envisioned this space as a means to revitalize Waipahu’s town core and deliver economic and social benefits to the community.
