Our Story

The Wahlbangers Drum Circle was founded in 1993, inspired by a personal journey of recovery through drumming. After a life-changing accident, the founder discovered the profound physical and psychological benefits of rhythm. This passion transformed into a mission when he brought drums to Woods Nursing Home, creating a joyful atmosphere of healing and community. Since then, the organization has expanded its outreach, impacting thousands across over seventy facilities in Southern California.
