The W House Foundation of Hagerstown, Inc. was founded in 1988 by dedicated community members to provide supportive, sober housing for women recovering from alcoholism. In 1990, it became a certified Continuing Care Facility and expanded its services in 1995 to include a 24-hour staffed clinical program. Rebranded in 2016 as Lasting Change, Recovery Solutions for Women, the organization achieved CARF Accreditation in 2017, with reaccreditation in 2021 and 2024.
Lasting Change empowers women struggling with addiction through a holistic biopsychosocial approach, enhancing their quality of life and supporting their recovery journey.
