Supporting Combat Veterans Struggling With PTSD
Assisting Veterans Transition From Military To Civilian Life
Providing Spiritual Resources And Community Support

Our Story

Camp V.O.W. was founded by Walter Ybarbo III, a combat action Marine who recognized the need for support among all combat veterans, not just those who served after 2001. From humble beginnings in Olathe, Kansas, Walter initiated PTSD meetings at his store, Semper Fi Nutrition, creating a safe space for veterans to share their experiences. This faith-based organization is dedicated to reconnecting veterans with their spiritual communities, fostering hope and resilience.

Our Impact

At Camp V.O.W., the mission is clear: to serve all combat veterans by providing community, care, and empowerment. Veterans from all branches and conflicts find a renewed sense of identity and purpose through our programs. By standing alongside these heroes, we help them transition from trauma to triumph, ensuring they never feel alone in their journey.
