Our Story

VOW for Girls was inspired by the vision of human rights activist Mabel van Oranje, who sought to connect the wedding industry with the mission to end child marriage. By partnering with brands and individuals, VOW raises awareness and funds to support girls' rights, aiming for a world where no child is ever a bride.

Impact

VOW for Girls supports grassroots organizations that provide education, job training, and essential life skills to girls at risk of child marriage. With over 177 community-based organizations funded across six countries, 85% of grantees are women-led, ensuring that the efforts are effective and impactful.
