Our Story

Founded by David, an 11-year Marine Corps veteran, VOW22 emerged in response to the staggering statistic that 22 veterans take their own lives each day. What began as a push-up challenge for awareness has transformed into a community-focused initiative, including hikes that unite veterans and their families. Since 2017, VOW22 has prioritized counseling and support for veterans facing mental, emotional, or physical trauma, highlighting the critical role of community and family involvement.

Our Impact

Since its inception, VOW22 has positively impacted over 500 service members and veterans, providing more than 2,050 counseling sessions funded entirely by generous donations. The organization is dedicated to significantly reducing veteran suicide rates through increased community awareness and support.
