Our Story

Since 1896, Volunteers of America has been dedicated to serving the most vulnerable individuals in America. In Southeast Louisiana, this commitment translates into over 30 diverse human services programs that empower children, families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans across 16 parishes. Each year, more than 30,000 individuals benefit from our lifesaving services, which are tailored to meet the unique needs of our community.
