Our Story

Founded in 1896 by Maud and Ballington Booth, Volunteers of America (VOA) has dedicated itself to supporting vulnerable populations. Since its establishment, VOA Southeast has expanded its services across Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi, focusing on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, veterans, low-income seniors, children, and those facing mental health and addiction challenges.
