Our Story

Volunteers in Medicine Clinic is dedicated to delivering comprehensive medical care to the working uninsured in Martin County. Since 1995, a devoted community of volunteer medical professionals, including physicians and nurses, has provided essential healthcare services at no cost to patients. All necessary labs and diagnostics are also provided free of charge, with costs covered by Cleveland Clinic Martin Health. Specialty care is generously offered by local physicians, ensuring that every patient receives the care they need.

Impact

Each year, VIM Clinic delivers over $9 million in free medical care, with 98% of the budget spent directly on patient care. Last year alone, over 9,000 patient visits were recorded, showcasing the clinic's vital role in the community.
