Our Story

The Iroquois Steeplechase, organized by the Volunteer State Horsemen's Foundation, has been a hallmark of Nashville's equestrian culture since the 1940s. Established by passionate fox hunting enthusiasts, this annual horse racing event takes place in the picturesque Percy Warner Park. Attracting over 25,000 spectators each year, it showcases the finest horses and riders while raising funds for vital causes.

Proceeds from the Iroquois Steeplechase directly benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and other local nonprofits, enhancing the health and well-being of children and families in the Nashville area.
