Since 1986, the Volunteer English Program in Chester County has been dedicated to helping vulnerable newcomers learn English and achieve U.S. citizenship. Evolving from a grassroots initiative to a vital resource, VEP provides free, one-on-one tutoring in English language skills and cultural immersion for immigrants and refugees. Serving nearly 300 adult students from 42 different countries, VEP relies on the commitment of approximately 300 volunteers who make this mission possible.
