Our Story

Voices of a People’s History is a nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices from U.S. history. Inspired by Howard Zinn, it was founded in 2003 by a passionate group of activists, artists, and educators. Through performances, teaching guides, and a documentary film, the organization collaborates with various prestigious arts organizations to inspire a new generation committed to social justice.
