Our Story

Voices In Praise is a vibrant, faith-based community youth choir program located in Calvert County, Maryland. Founded in 1998, this program offers students in Grades 4 to 12 the chance to sing, serve, and grow in faith and friendship. With a diverse repertoire that spans classical to contemporary, the choir performs toe-tapping spirituals, beloved hymns, gospel numbers, and multicultural pieces. VIP actively engages in local outreach and has traveled across the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Russia, and Belize, sharing their music with the world.

Our Impact

Voices In Praise nurtures young people by building community and providing opportunities for them to engage in the creative art of music-making. The choir has had incredible experiences, including singing in the pre-show at the Lighting of the National Christmas Tree and performing in prestigious venues across the globe.
