Our Story

Founded in 1994, Voices for Virginia’s Children is the only independent, multi-issue child policy and advocacy organization in the commonwealth. The focus is on children whose needs are often overlooked, particularly in early childhood, foster care, health, and economic security.

Impact

With over 30 years of advocacy, the organization has secured $1.10 billion in the Governor's budget for early childhood care and education and launched a statewide Kinship as Foster Care Prevention Program.
