Advocacy For Children In The Foster Care System
Support For Children Who Have Experienced Abuse Or Neglect

Our Story

In January 1997, the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals established the CASA system to protect the rights of children in foster care. The WV CASA Network was formed to ensure that this vital program was available in all 55 counties of West Virginia. Officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in March 1998, the organization has grown to serve over twenty counties, with the first CASA program launched in Huntington, WV. Since then, dedicated volunteers have tirelessly advocated for the best interests of children, ensuring they receive the support and care they deserve.

Impact

A child with a CASA/GAL volunteer is half as likely to re-enter the foster care system. Every day, 1,900 children face abuse or neglect, and your support can help change their lives.
