Vietnamese Overseas Initiative for Conscience Empowerment, known as VOICE, is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to amplifying the voices of the Vietnamese community. Since 1997, VOICE has been at the forefront of promoting civil society development, advocating for human rights, and assisting in the resettlement of Vietnamese refugees.
VOICE has successfully facilitated the resettlement of approximately 2,000 individuals to the United States in 2005 and around 1,000 to Australia, Canada, and Norway from 2000 to 2009. The organization has also raised nearly $500,000 to aid victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines and to rebuild schools.
