Founded in 1968 in Council Bluffs, Vocational Development Center Inc, known as Vodec, emerged from the dedication of families and local leaders who recognized the need for vocational options for individuals with disabilities. Over the years, Vodec has expanded its services to include residential support, day habilitation, and community-based employment programs, positively impacting lives across Iowa and Nebraska.
