Founded in 1901 by Dr. William Hazard Sherman, VNS Westchester began as a nursing service for patients discharged from St. John’s Riverside Hospital. Over the years, it has evolved to serve over 10,000 patients across Westchester, the Bronx, Dutchess, Putnam, and Rockland counties, offering high-quality home healthcare.
