Our Story

VNSA Volunteer Nonprofit Service Association began as the Visiting Nurse Service Auxiliary over 65 years ago. The first used book sale was held in 1957, and after the Visiting Nurse Service was acquired by a hospital corporation, VNSA evolved to continue its mission of supporting human services in the Phoenix area.

Impact

In 2024, VNSA raised over $500,000 from the annual used book sale, benefiting local nonprofit human service charities in Maricopa County, with more than 13,000 shoppers participating.
