About the Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center

The Vivekananda Study & Philanthropic Center of New York is dedicated to upholding the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, focusing on international brotherhood, peace, and harmony. Named after the influential figure known for his address at the Chicago Parliament of Religions in 1893, the center fosters understanding among diverse cultures and religions.

Impacting Lives Through Education

To date, the center has provided over 1500 educational scholarships to financially disadvantaged students in Bangladesh, India, Zambia, and South Africa. Additionally, it actively supports new South East Asian immigrant communities in New York City, offering aid during natural disasters and engaging in various social works.
