Our Story
Since 1985, the Vista Drop-In Center has been a beacon of hope for adults facing mental illness and developmental disabilities in Genesee County. Originally a project of Volunteers in Service to America, the center has evolved into a consumer-driven hub where clients actively participate in management and planning. This collaborative environment fosters a sense of ownership and community among staff, board members, and center members. With a focus on empowerment and skill development, the center offers both structured and unstructured activities, allowing individuals to engage at their own pace.
