Founded in 2004, Viridiant was established to introduce a green building program tailored to the unique climatic conditions of Virginia. With initial funding from a Department of Energy grant, the EarthCraft Homes program was launched to promote sustainable construction practices. Over the years, Viridiant has grown into one of the largest regional providers of green building programs in the United States, focusing on energy-efficient and affordable housing.
