Our Story
Tracing its roots to the 1980s, the Virginia Housing Alliance has a strong track record of advocating for the expansion of housing opportunities. By educating the public about housing challenges in Virginia, VHA helps build the organizational capacity of housing nonprofits across the state.
Our Impact
Since 2014, the VHA AmeriCorps VISTA project has supported homeless services and expanded affordable housing by recruiting 1,190 community volunteers and leveraging $7.1 million in cash resources.
