Our Story

Welcome to the 24th Annual Vine Grove Bluegrass Festival! Since its inception in September 2000, this festival has transformed from a one-day event into a vibrant three-day celebration of bluegrass music. Over the years, the festival has seen numerous enhancements, including a dedicated website, park improvements, and an ever-growing lineup of talented artists. Despite these changes, the commitment to affordable ticket prices remains steadfast, thanks to the generous support from local businesses and the tireless efforts of volunteers.

In 2005, the festival formalized its operations, becoming Vine Grove Bluegrass Festival, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The festival continues to thrive with the backing of the City of Vine Grove and its founding sponsor, The Cecilian Bank. The mission is clear: to provide exceptional entertainment while investing in the community through park enhancements and cultural initiatives.
