Our Story
The Village Agricultural Cooperative was founded in Spring 2019 in Rochester, Minnesota, to empower elderly immigrant communities by providing access to land for food production. Since its inception, the cooperative has expanded its reach to support local growers from over 22 countries, fostering cultural relevance in food production. As a registered nonprofit since February 2020, and with 501(c)(3) status achieved in March 2022, the organization is dedicated to building economic power through sustainable agriculture and community integration.
